July 7th to August 7th, 2010 ~ Support the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation
with Aeroplan Miles
The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation, in partnership with Aeroplan, is pleased to announce the continuation of an exciting way to support the purchase of new medical equipment for the hospital. As part of Aeroplan's Charitable Pooling Program, Aeroplan members can once again donate Aeroplan miles to a special designated account for the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
Between July 7th and August 7th, Aeroplan members can donate any number of miles they would like to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation. Interested donors simply need to contact the Foundation Office and fill out a special transfer form. Forms are also available for printing on the hospital website, www.nhh.ca.
Donated miles will be used to purchase items to be raffled or auctioned off at various Foundation events. The funds raised will be used to purchase high priority medical equipment to enhance patient care at the Northumberland Hills Hospital.

August 29th, 2010 ~ Chris Mansey Memorial Golf Tournament
The Chris Mansey Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Sunday, August 29th, 2010 at the Ashbrook Golf Course. Proceeds supporting the Palliative Care Unit of the Northumberland Hills Hospital. November 13, 2010 - 10th Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation Fundraising Gala
Since 2001, the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation has brought glamour, elegance, fun and excitement to the west Northumberland community through the presentation of its annual fundraising gala.
The 10th Annual Gala, "All that Glitters …Looks Like a Million" will take place on Saturday, November 13th, 2010 at the LIUNA Local 183 Training Centre in Cobourg.
The Gala is not just about great food, music and the fun of one evening. It is truly about a community coming together for the purpose of helping to purchase top priority medical equipment for our community hospital.
In 2009, the Gala raised $133,000 for the purchase of the high priority equipment for the Surgical Services Area of the Northumberland Hills Hospital. The Gala Cabinet and sub-committees include dedicated volunteers who are working diligently to bring us an outstanding event, while raising much-needed funds for the hospital. Revenue is generated through corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, raffle and the silent and live auctions. This wonderful event involves a tremendous effort on everyone's part and the Foundation is honoured to have their support.
