Jennifer Gillard, Director, Communications and Community Engagement, was presented with the Ontario Hospital Association’s Communicator of the Year 2010 award at the HealthAchieve convention earlier this week. The award, presented in Toronto, recognizes outstanding communicators working in health care organizations across the province.

The award recipient must be an individual member of a communications team from any OHA member hospital, organization or association, who has demonstrated exceptional work in their field for the betterment of health care in Ontario. A commitment to excellence in communications and involvement in external networks, associations or professional affiliations are essential.

The award selection criteria are based on service, innovation, leadership and excellence.
