The Physiotherapist will manage a specific caseload, planning, developing and providing individual physiotherapy programs for patients who are in the hospital. This will involve assessing and setting goals based on the patient’s demonstrated need. The Physiotherapist must be able to fulfill a multi-dimensional role of clinician, consultant, and educator of patient care. The FOI Specialist is educated and trained to provide guidance on access issues in the healthcare field. The FOI Specialist is responsible for assisting with the implementation of Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) requirements which includes policy development, training program development and delivery, and the process of managing the Freedom of Information request through its life cycle. As well, this position is responsible for monitoring the Hospital’s compliance with appropriate privacy statutes including Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), FIPPA and the investigation of privacy incidents.
